  • At Banglalink, facing a need to enhance user base and revenue for its Self-Care app, I was responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase monthly active users and overall revenue; I spearheaded user engagement (e.g Hourly deals), implemented a “super-app” framework and managed a $2M promotional and feature enhancement budget, while contributing to a strategic project that led to the launch of Ryze, an AI-powered lifestyle app for youth, resulting in 7.6M monthly active users for the Core Brand and 500K monthly active users for Ryze within three months of launch, generating $65M in annual revenue and a 37% year-on-year growth.

  • Tasked with improving customer engagement and retention in a multi-simmer environment while increasing the subscriber base in a competitive market, I launched an aggressive subsidized Acquisition model with 50%-year end retention target which was later followed by industry
  • I also launched the company’s first Tourist SIM and e-SIM to enhance customer engagement, designed and implemented a 90-day Baby Care model to reduce churn, and ran a countrywide BTS=Factory program to make all 12,000 Mobile Base Stations profitable, resulting in a 12.1% year-over-year growth in customer acquisition, a 4.4% increase in total subscribers, and a 2 pp improvement in customer retention
  • In addition to my commercial scope, I also worked closely with Telecommunication Regulator in Bangladesh (BTRC) and Banglalink Regulatory policy team on significant projects like SMP (aimed to create a level playing field among telecom operators), VOIP Barring (aimed to increase Government revenue) and Number Recycling (aimed to reduce pressure on New Number series) etc.
