ABDULLAH AL MAMUN

• Military Career: Successfully served over 22 years in the Bangladesh Army since June 26, 2002, with diverse roles including administrative officer, logistics officer, training officer, instructor, and commanding officer.
• Leadership in Special Security Force: Progressed through key leadership roles in the Special Security Force under the Prime Minister's Office:Deputy Director (June 2013 - March 2015) and Director (March 2019 - April 2024), responsible for strategic planning and coordination of security for high-level officials.
• Security Operations for High-Profile Visits: Spearheaded security measures during international visits for heads of state, effectively collaborating with foreign security agencies; recognized by UNDP for exceptional service during the Crown Princess of Sweden's visit.
• United Nations Missions: Enhanced international peace and security through deployments with:UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) and UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), gaining critical experience in humanitarian operations and crisis management and also received the Force Commander Commendation.

• Expertise in Close Protection and Advance Security: I have developed extensive expertise in close protection by serving as an advance security officer and close protection officer for the Head of State and Head of Government during official visits to 13 countries. My role emphasized threat assessment and crisis response in high-stakes environments. Notable security planning and coordination assignments(International) include official visits of Head of the State or Goverment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for official visit (2013 and 2023), United Arab Emirates for official visit (2014 and 2022), United Kingdom (2019), Azerbaijan for the NAM Summit (2019), India for official visit and state visit ( 2019 and 2022), Finland (2021), Switzerland for the ILO (2023), Indinesia for ASEAN Summit (2023), Singapore for official visit (2023) and Germany for the Munich Security Conference (2024). These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of international security dynamics, enhancing my ability to manage complex security operations effectively.
