Working for improving life of vulnerable and marginalized people by serving in development and humanitarian sector for last 14+ years, focusing on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), DRR, and Emergency Crisis Response Programs. Currently with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation as the Manager-ACCESS (Action to Climate Change Ensuring Sustainable Solutions, under Water, Food and Climate Change domain) and previously played pivotal program role as WASH Specialistfor Habitat for Humanity for their Bangladesh and ASIA Pacific Program and as WASH Technical Advisor of a (US$87 million) USAID, Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA); Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) funded project titled ‘Nobo Jatra-New beginning’ with World Vision. An enthusiast team player with experience of working with multilingual and multicultural teams. Skills and expertise in areas include Public Health Engineering, program design and management, monitoring, data management, and reporting. Work experience includes WASH and DRR Program implementation, management, coordination and advocacy for different development and emergency response grants of USAID, WFP, ECHO, UNICEF, SDC, SIDA, CARITAS CH etc. with reputed I/NGOs.

  • Leading Strategically steer and implement the water, food and climate programs following the strategy, values, policies, and regulations of HELVETAS Bangladesh and the donors and manage the people within the team.
  • Manage the ACCESS (Action to Climate Change Ensuring Sustainable Solutions) program efficiently and effectively, according to annual plans and available budget, guided by the country strategy and logical framework and compliance with donor and government requirements.
  • Lead the projects with technical advice on Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), WASH and Inclusion and guide partners and civil society organizations for effective implementation and learning.
  • Manage the partnership in project operation and with the internal/ external key stakeholders, relevant networks, and forums on Climate Change, DRR, WASH and cross-cutting development aspects.
