Currently, I am working as a Phase B resident at BSMMU, the most renowned medical university in my country, under the supervision of Prof. A.K.M. Mosharraf Hossain. PhD, Dept. of Respiratory Medicine.

• Evaluated and assessed patients by reviewing medical history and physical examinations.
• Diagnosed patients and administered medications on strict schedules.
• Taking part in daily rounds, morning sessions, and lecture classes.
• Collaborated with professionals to discuss each case before diagnosis or interventions, except in clear basic cases.
• Advised patients about diet, nutrition and other lifestyle behaviors to promote health and disease prevention.
• Admitted patients for hospital stays.
• Carried out therapeutic interventions.
• Conducted comprehensive research and data analysis to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
• On rotation, I work as a clinical assistant, when responsible for the whole indoor ward.

From time to time, take lectures and clinical classes for phase A residents.

Perform USG of the chest, USG-guided pleural fluid aspiration, and perform bronchoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the supervision of Prof. Shamim Ahmed.

Working as a resident under the supervision of Prof. A.K.M. Mosharraf Hossain, PhD, Dept of Respiratory Medicine, BSMMU, and Prof. Shamim Ahmed, Dept of Respiratory Medicine, are taking part in indoor and outdoor patients.

• I worked in a COPD clinic.
• Every OPD has approximately 30 patients attending daily.
• Manages rare cases like DPLD, COPD with corpulmonale, and tuberculous pleural effusion, DPLD with mixed connective tissue disease, and tubercular lymphadenopathy.
• Taken part in the morning presentation, indoor round, and lecture classes.
• Interpret and perform ABG and spirometry.
• Immunized patients to reduce transmission of preventable diseases.

• UHC is a primary care hospital, so here, as a medical officer, I have to take full responsibility as in charge during my duty periods.
• Diagnose patients by taking histories, conducting physical examinations, and performing routine investigations.
• Monitored inpatient bed use, facilities and staff to provide optimal use of resources.
• In the ER, I attended to and managed cases of snake poisoning, paraquat or OPC poisoning, and a patient with a history of burns and a road traffic accident.
• Perform normal vaginal delivery, NG suction, VIA test, minor surgery, and dressing of a patient with burns and RTA.

• Educated families on best practices when caring for elderly relatives at home.
• Attended cases like septic shock, spinal cord compression, kala azar, chronic myeloid leukemia, lymphoma, disseminated tuberculosis, etc.
• Works in the dengue corner during the dengue pandemic.
• I attended the morning OPD and treated almost 30 cases per OPD duty.
• I also attended the morning session, indoor round, and lectures.
• Interacted with patients' family members to discuss diagnosis and provide updates.

• Attended cases like stroke, normal pressure hydrocephalus, meningoencephalitis due to HSV-1, bacterial meningitis, GBS, MND, etc.
• Observe performing EEG, NCV.
• Performed a lumber puncture, both therapeutic and diagnostic.
• Learned to interpret CT scans of the brain, MRIs of the brain, and spine.
• I attended the stroke clinic and the abnormal movement clinic.

• Under the supervision of Prof. Sajal Krishna Banarjee, Dept. of Cardiology, BSMMU.

• Ordered and interpreted results of laboratory tests and radiographs.
• Diagnosed patients and administered medications on strict schedules.
• Worked in the cardiology ER, performed and read ECGs, and provided emergency treatment.
• Work in CCU and manage patients with complete heart block, heart failure, and rheumatic heart disease.
• Observe PCI and angiogram in the cath lab, and cardiac resuscitation in CCU.

Also performed long arm back slab, short arm back slab, following fracture of bone.

I also had short rotations in the Department of ENT and the Department of Ophthalmology.
