I have been working as a public health professional with MBBS and MPH, in multiple organizations (WHO, Save the Children and icddr,b), experienced in policy advocacy, program management, coordination with Government and different stakeholders, with technical and programmatic expertise in Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child, Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), Quality Improvement, Immunization, Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases surveillance, Nutrition, & Infection prevention control measures
· Maintain a healthy collaborative relationship with the MOH&FW, Local Government and counterparts in the district and below for program planning, management, implementation, coordination, and design, and helping to ensure the attainment of annual plan.
· Facilitate MOH&FW-led, data-driven planning and reviews, and mobilize local government bodies, also provide necessary support, and review regular implementation plan and budget burn trend analysis.
· Develop plan and support QI committees, analyze monthly performance, and review MIS data to provide timely feedback to the Government as well as to the partner NGOs.
· Regular monitoring and supervision of maternal and newborn health related activities (ANC, PNC, Delivery, ENC, PPFP etc) run by GOB and PNGOs.
· Along with MOH&FW, played a leading role to start ‘Stop Home Delivery Initiative’ where all the stakeholders like elected representatives, administration, local NGOs, private clinics and electronic as well as print media were involved.
· Guided district health authorities in planning and implementation of vaccine preventable diseases control activities and expanded program on immunization (EPI) as per WHO quality standards and best practice.
· Monitor the quality of polio eradication activities including National Immunization Days and Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) surveillance to maintain Polio eradicated status as well as monitoring the quality of measles elimination and rubella control activities including surveillance of suspected measles cases, identity areas with low immunization coverage and susceptibility to measles and rubella outbreaks and initiate appropriate immunization response.
· Guided district health authorities for microplanning and implementing MR campaign 2020 where almost 1.5 million children vaccinated in my working area.
· Provide technical assistance to achieve ‘Full Immunization Activity’ at Upazila level which was led by DGHS and all other stakeholders of respective Upazila worked together to make it successful.
· Provided technical assistance to GOB staffs for capacity building during new vaccine introduction ( fIPV, TD, COVID-19 Vaccines).
· Provided technical assistance to district health authorities to combat against COVID-19 pandemic through training on IPC, contact tracing, diagnostics and case management and built effective communication among all stakeholders for better outcome.
· Provided technical support for microplanning and implementation of MR campaign during FDMN’s influx in Cox’s Bazar (August 2017) and 2nd round Diphtheria campaign for both FDMNs and host communities (January- February 2018).
· Provided training on IMCI in subdistrict level of 4 districts. Provided training on maternal health, child health and nutrition to govt staffs to increase awareness among the community. Observed and evaluated IMCI management in the sub-districts and community level.
· Conducted health facility assessment in 16 districts throughout the country. Evaluated competency-based training on nutrition, evaluation of both trainers and trainees.
