Throughout my secondary school years I was homeschooled which was very exciting for me due to the experiences I had. During these years, as well as studying towards my GCSEs I had the chance to do many extra-curricular activities such as horse-riding and Muay Thai.
I also have a passion for history, specifically Eastern history, which is the cause of my love for reading and doing research and writing.
During this time I also did an Alimiyyah course which I unfortunately did not have the chance to finish, however I am currently doing another one which I hope to finish. I have done extensive studies in Islamic studies and Arabic language and have much experience teaching these subjects too.
I tutor in the fields of arabic language, Qur'an and tajweed, Islamic studies and english too.
I have been tutoring for the past two years with successful results. My students are of all ages, starting from the age of five all the way up till eighteen and many have learnt to read arabic fluently with me starting from scratch. I have also done voluntary work teaching at a local junior Muslim circle.
I also tutor English language for children throughout primary school, ks3 and all the way up till GCSE.
Writing
Painting and artwork
I have read many books throughout my years, both fiction and non-fiction, including many classics, My love for reading has lead me to do much research about history, specifically Eastern History, such as about the conflict between Palestine and Israel and the Islamic Golden Age. I also enjoy writing which lead to me achieving a good score in my GCSE English.
I like to bake and cook in my free time, trying out different recipes and experimenting with new things.
In the case of art, it is something I spend a lot of time on. I like to paint arabic calligraphy on canvases and post pictures of them on to the social media platform Instagram. I also like sketching sceneries with pencil and love doing henna on hands for special occasions such as Eid as well as just for fun.
