Work history

Transitional Period in Life
2025.07 - 2026.07
  • Following my graduation, I experienced a two-year gap in my academic and professional journey due to significant financial challenges faced by my family in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, I prioritized supporting my family, assisting with our agricultural activities, preparing for the medical licensing examination, and actively seeking employment opportunities. Although these circumstances prevented me from pursuing an MPhil or other postgraduate studies at that time, they strengthened my resilience, adaptability, and sense of responsibility. Throughout this period, my interest in public health and research remained strong. I continued to explore current public health issues and became increasingly convinced that an MPH is the most appropriate path to develop practical research, epidemiological, and leadership skills. I now view this opportunity as a turning point that will enable me to contribute meaningfully to population health and build a long-term career in public health.

  • Amra Notun Network, Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2022-01-01, 2022-04-01, As members of the Amra Notun Network Changemakers Program, our team led an initiative to improve accessibility and inclusion for students with disabilities at the University of Dhaka. We collaborated with the university's senior management to establish two fully accessible washrooms, addressing a critical barrier faced by students with physical disabilities, including wheelchair users. Before the project, many students experienced discomfort, dependence on others, and hesitation to remain on campus for extended periods due to the lack of accessible sanitation facilities. By creating these accessible washrooms, we helped foster a safer, more inclusive, and equitable campus environment where students with disabilities can study and participate in university life with greater independence and dignity. The project has directly improved the daily lives of approximately 200 students with disabilities, reducing their reliance on assistance and enabling them to access campus facilities more confidently. In recognition of its significant social impact and contribution to inclusive education, the initiative received two national-level awards.
