Passionate and professional Artillery officer (Major) of Bangladesh (BD) Army with keen interest of golf has 23 years of experience in various units/ installations/organizations in and outside the army. Serve twice in conflict-prone hilly indigenous inhabited areas in BD and United Nations Peacekeeping Operations (UNPKO) in Ivory Coast and Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC). I was awarded United Nations medal with Force Commander Commendation twice. Again, was awarded with national gallantry award “Army Medal of Excellence” by Bangladesh Government for repulsing an attack on the Sector Headquarters(Sector West, Daloa, Ivory Coast) safeguarding the life of almost 2000 United Nations Peace keepers and Staffs. Also I have served twice in Savar Golf Club in the capacity of Member Secretary and CEO. Presently I am serving as Operations Officer Of Force Support Wing, Headquarters, Border Guard Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  • Collaborated with the Congolese security bodies, Forces Army of the DRC & National Police of Congo deployed in the Ituri sector to reduce crime like the assault on staff of international NGOs operating within the Area of Responsibility (AOR), including child/sexual abuse.
  • Arranged and conducted security training in collaboration with the DRC's security forces deployed in Komanda to evaluate the existing security management system. Through such activity, I analyzed and identified potential security problems, evaluation of roads during emergencies, fire evacuation plans, and fire drills.
  • I could successfully Involve with the Demobilization, Disarmament & Reintegration (DDR) process of the militia forces of DRC operating in Ituri province.
  • Initiated several meetings with the local authorities of Komanda & Roe urging them to dialogue with the youth population in order to avoid a perpetrate genocide.
  • Collaborated with the Congolese security bodies, Forces Army of the DRC & National Police of Congo deployed in the sector to reduce crime like an assault on staffs of international NGOs operating within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) including child/sexual abuse. The attempted attack on NGO by some suspected FNI splinter groups was aborted by quick petrol of my COB.
  • Established COB(Company Operating Base) in Komanda of Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) and operated separate TOB (Temporary Operating Base) from the COB.
  • Led a rescue operation from the TOB at ROE(Tchibe village) in DRC to rescue almost hundred unarmed civilian from a potential genocide.
  • Set an IDP Camp of almost three thousand people at ROE and provided security of that IDP Camp.
  • Provided security to different organizations of UN and other agencies operated in ROE to help the people of IDP Camp.
  • Conducted various visit and presentation of high officials of UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION STABILIZATION MISSION IN THE DR CONGO(MONUSCO) and Force Commander at ROE.
  • I carried out several health campaigns to assist the distressed in Komanda and ROE.
  • Most importantly, respect for ethnic diversity was the sole success of our contingent.

  • In the event of the battle group commander becoming a casualty I was suppose to assume command until relieved.
