I have been working as a Full Professor (second grade) in the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka since May 2014. I am engaged with teaching and research activities in country and abroad (e.g., China, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia) in various fields of Chemistry e.g., Mass spectrometry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Environmental Chemistry.

I worked as a House Tutor of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall, University of Dhaka (2005-2007). During my job at KUET, I also worked as an Assistant Provost of Fazlul Haq Hall (1997-2000).
