  • Supervised all aspects of material sourcing, price negotiation, deal management, and capacity management of USD 660 million+ annual material value from strategic Fabric and Yarn suppliers (capturing the company’s sourcing share of 23% worldwide and 56% of BD).
  • Implemented Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) across Tier 2 supply chains with 48 suppliers under direct supervision to evaluate their performance and follow-up on their improvements
  • Generated total cost savings of more than USD 500 million from 2013 to 2018 by securing the best deal through activities like- inventory analysis, consolidation, knowledge-based negotiation, yarn deal, T2 competition, booking, etc.
  • Optimized material prices of more than 1000 quotations per season through open-cost (OCS) negotiation, fact-based costing (FBC) and strong collaboration with backward linkage supply chain
  • Successful yarn deal of 20–22 thousand tons per year with spinners to meet approx. 60% of yearly demand with 7-8% added internal action contributing to profitability.
