I am working as Manager (Program) in the BD Rural WASH for HCD Project of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), an apex development organization established by the Government of Bangladesh for sustainable poverty reduction through employment generation. It plays a significant role in the economic development of the rural underprivileged community who are excluded from the conventional banking system. I have worked at Trust Bank Limited (Trust Bank Investment Limited) as a Senior Officer for 3 years. I have also worked as a Research Executive at SIRIUS Marketing and Social Research Ltd and as an Intern at East West Property Development (Pvt.) Ltd.

  • Company Overview: An apex development organization established by the Government of Bangladesh for sustainable poverty reduction through employment generation. It plays a significant role in the economic development of the rural underprivileged community who are excluded from the conventional banking system.
  • Perform financial and management audit to filed level at POs to detect fraud or non-compliance with laws, regulations and project policies, if any.
  • Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
  • Make plan of regular visit to POs and perform visit as per plan and report about the achievement of the plan previously approved.
  • Preparation of detailed reports on findings place it to management on a regular basis.
  • Inspect account books and accounting systems of the selected PO’s for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
  • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Examine whether the project’s true objectives are reflected in its activities, and whether project employees understand the objectives.
  • Working with the internal and external auditor in preparation of audit reports and analyze the audit findings to yield a true and fair financial statement for the project.
  • Examine the advance payment to the POs and report about any non-compliance to the management.
  • Examine the reimbursement payment application and the procedure of reimbursement.
  • Any job assigned by PKSF management or PMU.
  • To implement the project I usually remain engaged to organize and assist in the arrangement of seminars, workshops, and other programs on a regular basis.
  • Organize and assist in arranging various external and internal training programs for Local Entrepreneurs and PO staff about BD Rural WASH for HCD Project.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by PKSF authority.

  • Extensive field work for overall monitoring, supervision and audit of Core Programs, different Development Programs and major Projects (PACE funded by IFAD, SEP & OBA-sanitation funded by World Bank, ENRICH funded by GoB, Ujjibito funded by EU, KGF) of PKSF implemented by Partner Organizations (POs) at field level.
