• Assist in tracking the allocation and utilization of resources (labor, materials, and equipment) across different project tasks.
• Help coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials required for the project.
• Ensure that resources are being used efficiently and as per the project schedule.

• Conduct regular site visits to measure and value the work completed to date.
• Perform physical site measurements and validate the work completed by contractors.
• Prepare interim valuations for work completed and submit them to clients and contractors.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that costs are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess the financial viability of the project and provide cost advice during the design phase.
• Prepare and maintain the Bill of Quantities (BoQ), which lists all materials, labor, and other resources required for the project.
• Ensure that the BoQ is comprehensive and accurately reflects the project’s scope and requirements.
• Review design and project specifications to identify discrepancies or omissions that may impact the cost.

• Assist in supervising earthwork operations such as excavation, grading, backfilling, and leveling.
• Coordinate with the construction team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure work is performed as per the approved design.
• Ensure that site activities adhere to the construction schedule and timelines.
• Monitor the work to ensure that it is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the drawings and project specifications.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of materials required for earthworks, including soil, aggregates, and other construction materials.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of machinery and equipment (e.g., excavators, graders, bulldozers) used in earthwork activities.
• Ensure that equipment is in good working condition to avoid delays in the project schedule.
• Assist in the surveying and setting out of earthwork boundaries and levels in accordance with the approved design.
• Ensure that excavation depths, gradients, and fill levels are in line with the construction drawings and specifications.
