Summary
Prior to joining Surbana Jurong, Mr. Aziz completed a Master of Urban Design with Asian Development Bank scholarship from the University of Hong Kong. Earlier than that, Mr. Aziz worked as a Lecturer for three years at Bangladesh University, Dhaka. Before that, his undergraduate research thesis published in BDI- Yale University conference proceedings and Archiprix-2019. All the collective experience reinforces his core vision about research-informed design practices: Mr. Aziz aims at formulating design strategies rooted in elements of the built environment which foster a hybrid paradigm that allows natural ecologies and human systems coexist and thrive. Mayanagar Township & Fordnagar Housing are the noteworthy projects, underscoring his capacity to manage complex, large-scale urban design, planning and block development projects. Concurrently, he engaged in various avenues of professional development, such as design competitions, seminars, workshops, and publishing research papers.

- Mayanagar Township, Savar with SAA, Singapore Studio. Prepare a masterplan for 1600+ units residential block, necessary amenities, landscape design and phasing guidelines as per DAP and PRLDR for 114.86-acre area. Prepare architectural drawings for 2 no's 30-storied commercial mixed-use buildings, sales pavilion and gallery, school, mosque and necessary amenities. Large-scale project approval drawings, CAAB and GAJUK approval drawings.
- Fordnagar Housing, Savar. Prepare a masterplan for 1600+ units residential block, phasing guidelines, landscape design of the central park, waterfront park and the 6 internal courtyards as per DAP and PRLDR for 32.3-acre area. Prepare Large-Scale Project approval drawings, CAAB and GAJUK approval drawings.
- Naasa Healthcare Campus, Purbachal, Dhaka. Prepare a healthcare campus masterplan for 500 bed hospital, medical college, dormitories and 200 keys service apartment, necessary amenities along with healthcare landscape design for 10.86-acre area. Prepare Large-Scale Project approval drawings, CAAB and RAJUK approval drawings.
- Lakefront Reconnect Competition, CMDA, Chennai, India with Surbana Jurong India Studio.
