With 7+ years of experience as a Researcher at an international rights-based organization and an additional 7 years in professional journalism and writing, I have developed a strong skill set in investigating and documenting rights violations in Bangladesh, particularly within refugee camps and other districts. My work focuses on reporting extensively on refugee, migration, and human rights issues, while engaging directly with marginalized communities such as Rohingya individuals, trafficking victims, sex workers, and transgender people. I have demonstrated the ability to take calculated risks in my investigations, including crossing into northern Rakhine to report on the refugee crisis and uncovering corruption cases. Additionally, I possess skills in generating innovative ideas, conducting thorough research, analyzing information, and producing high-quality written content through meticulous editing and proofreading. I also have experience working on wildlife and environmental issues. My strong communication skills allow me to effectively engage with individuals from government entities, non-government organizations, political parties, and various stakeholders. Known for building trust and establishing rapport with diverse actors, I consistently strive for excellence in my work. Exceptional communication abilities in both Bangla and English languages.
Six years working into this organization, I have researched and published more than seven reports and more than hundreds press releases identifying human rights violation. Besides, I have to engage with stakeholders- government bodies, INGOs or NGOs and medias for advocacy purposes to make them aware about any ongoing situation which might affect the country's human rights standard and suggest policy changes.
