Performed the adoption, promulgation, and implementation activities of IFRS, IPSAS, ISAs, International Valuation Standards and the Code of Ethics of Bangladesh jurisdiction.

Designed and developed five (5) tiers of financial reporting standards for public sector entities in Bangladesh.

As a Board Member (four years) of the oversight body to set standards, review, monitor the financial reporting and auditing professional activities of Bangladesh took the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) to a new height.

Analysis, interpretation, and expression of opinion to mitigate the differences in local law requirements vs. the requirements of the international standards relating to accounting, financial reporting, and auditing.

Worked for two years with ICAEW as a Professional Standards Consultant on the reform and development of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (along with 181 CA firms). The quality of audits of all 181 CA firms has been significantly improved. Study manuals are now at ICAEW standard. An increased number of CA students in Bangladesh are passing CA exams. Brighter students are attracted to the CA profession.
