1. Planning & Strategy:
i. Developing strategic plan and drive critical initiatives with business & functions with periodic review
ii. Preparing “Strategic Plan” for a period of 5 years in accordance with “Risk Management Guideline for Banks” issued by the central bank to ensure the substantial growth as well as to lead the bank in an efficient and logical way

iv. Engage with business partners to ensure critical strategic decisions are well articulated and project dependencies are clearly defined and communicated with all the stakeholders
v. Conducting research on capabilities & processes of best-in-class competitors and migrate best practices to improve efficiency and productivity
vi. Revisit existing policies & procedures of different functional departments of the bank and review those including PPGs of retail & SME segments on periodic manner and as and when required
2. Process Re-engineering:
i. Coordinate and supervise different projects including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Loan Originating Systems (LOS) etc. in collaboration with ICT, BIS and respective functioning units with a focus to get rid of manual and hectic processes in different functional areas of the bank as well as increasing digital footprint
ii. Working in automation of capturing and tracking of different types of deferrals such as approval conditions, financial/ non-financial covenants, mortgage/ TPA, Pari Passu/ charge creation etc. in collaboration with CRM, CAD & respective Business Units
iii. Review and recommend changes in business/ operational processes to improve turnaround time and customer satisfaction
3. Governance:
i. Supervision & coordination of different meetings/ process of cross functional departments to resolve issues/ concerning matters that make the processes delayed
ii. Develop & implement the “Risk Control Self-Assessment” (RCSA) tool for various department of the Bank
iii. Review quarterly activity reports of all departments/ divisions and collate the same for onward submission to the higher management of the Bank
iv. Identify and refine business goals jointly with business partners. Execute projects and programs to achieve those goals
4. NPL Management and Portfolio Review:
i. Supervision & monitoring of Special Asset Management Division with special focus on top 50 stressed and classified/ written off accounts of different segments
ii. Provide support to drive for the recovery effort of the bank both from classified & written of portfolio along with regular follow-up of the legal initiatives
iii. Coordination of monthly NPL/ Portfolio Review and EAR Meeting in collaboration with SAM, Retail & SME Collection, BU & CRM
iv. Assistance in Special Asset Review Process of the bank & reviewing quarterly SARR submitted by BU
5. Miscellaneous:
i. Assist MD on issuance of various office instruction circulars/ instructions
ii. Any special task/ assignment assigned by the MD/ AMD/ Head of Planning, Strategy & Governance throughout the year

i. Approval of Retail & SME segment loans and advances including Credit Cards with delegation of unsecured lending authority up to BDT 10 million and secured lending up to BDT 30 million

iii. Analyzing merit of the proposal and approving/ recommending accordingly
iv. Analysis on the global and country's economic outlook

iii. Analyzing Mortgage Finance, Auto Finance, Personal Finance proposals as per Product Program Guideline (PPG) and credit policy and forwarding it to Head of CRM for approval.
iv. Making clear & transparent communication with the team & senior management.
